|Tutorial : Crystal Bracelet#10
Level : Beginner to Intermediate.
This is not my design. I found the pattern from the book called, 'Rocca'. The book scan is HERE.
- Swarovski Bicone Crystal 4 mm. (I use Erinite, Montana and Silver Shade)
- Seed Bead (I use Miyuki white pearl)
- Nylon Thread No. 25 (2.5 mm.)
- Clasp and Jumprings.
Cut the nylon thread around 100 cm. (Actually, I forget how long I cut, LOL! but 100 cm. is enough for step 1 - 9.) Make a ring of nine seed beads.
If you notice from most of my tutorials, I love to start with a ring of seed beads. Then, I can add jumpring and clasp to it. It's only my style. You may start the bracelet differently. It depends on the clasp you want to use.
Add two crystals to each thread. Cross both threads at a seed bead (red arrow).
Add two seed beads and four crystals.
Put the thread back into the second seed bead we just added in previous step (red arrow).
Do the same for the other side.
Add one seed bead to each thread. Cross both threads at a seed bead (red arrow).
Add two crystals to each thread. Cross both threads at a seed bead (red arrow). Pull the threads tight and arrange the beads in place.
Repeat step 2 to step 7 until you reach the length of your wrist.
End the other side with the ring of nine seed beads. String the thread back and forth, tie them together and cut the remaining threads. However, if you still have long threads, you can just continue.
Cut the new thread around 50 cm. String the thread into the seed bead (red arrow).
If you use the old threads, just string the threads back until you cross that seed bead (red arrow).
String the threads into the next seed beads and crystal (red highlights).
Add one seed bead, crystal and one seed bead. Put the thread into the crystal (red arrows). Do the same both sides.
Put the thread in the next seed bead and the crystal (red highlights).
Repeat step 12 and 13.
Pull the thread tight, tie the threads and keep the remaining threads into the beads. Add the clasp and jumprings to the seed bead circle.
I hope you enjoy the tutorial and I'm sorry for lack of update. My life is super busy. LOL!
