May. 23rd, 2012 @ 12:12 am [Tutorial] Violet Rose
Tutorial : Violet Rose
Level : Beginner
Technique : Crossweave

- 8mm. Clay Rose (I bought them from Naturaler.)
- 4mm. Crystal bicone
- 3mm. Pearl round
- 4mm. Pearl round
- 6mm. Pearl round
- 3mm. Czech fire polished
- 11/0 seed beads
- Jumprings
- Clasp
- Thread

This bracelet is the same as the previous tutorial. Only we use fimo rose as a center bead and we have to adjust the number of beads to wrap around the rose.

Cut the thread around 80 cm. String three 11/0 seed beads, one 3mm pearl and three 11/0 seed beads. Cross both threads at a fimo rose (red arrow).

Add three 11/0 seed beads at both sides. Cross the threads at a 3mm pearl (red arrow).

Pass your threads back through the three 11/0 seed beads. Add one 3mm pearl (red arrow). Continue your thread to the next three 11/0 seed beads. Do the same for the other side too. Finally, cross both threads at a 3mm pearl (blue arrow).

Put each thread into the next 11/0 seed bead on each side (red arrows).

Pick up one thread, add one crystal, one 11/0 seed bead, one 6mm pearl and one 11/0 seed bead. Cross both threads at a crystal (red arrow).

Put the right thread into the next 11/0 seed beads (red arrow, the second seed bead of the three). Add one 4mm pearl to the left thread. Cross both threads at a crystal (blue arrow).

Put the right thread into the next three beads (red arrows, 11/0 seed bead, 3mm pearl and 11/0 seed bead). For the left thread, add one 11/0 seed bead, one 6mm pearl and one 11/0 seed bead. Cross both threads at a crystal (blue arrow).

Repeat step 6 and 7 all around.

On the final round, after you pass your thread to the middle 11/0 seed bead, just pass your thread to the crystal (the first crystal on step 5). Cross both threads at a 4mm pearl (red arrow).

Add 3mm czech beads between 4mm pearl and 6mm pearl all around (red arrows). Try to push it under the 11/0 seed bead. You can string your threads back into the beads if you wish to tighten the square or you can tie the threads together. But don't cut the threads, you can use the remaining threads to connect each square.

Make around 6-7 squares depend on your desired length.

This is how I connect each square together. You can cut the new thread or use the remaining threads, cross them at 4mm pearl (red arrow). Add to both threads one 11/0 seed bead, one 3mm pearl and one 11/0 seed bead. Cross the threads at the 4mm pearl of the other square (blue arrow).

Put the thread into the next 3mm czech beads (green arrows). Add to both threads one 11/0 seed bead, one crystal and one 11/0 seed bead. Cross the threads at 3mm czech beads (yellow arrows) and 4mm pearl (red arrow).

Repeat connecting each square the same way.

Add jumpring and clasp at both ends. Done~!

Happy beading!

Wow, that is beautiful! I love that! It looks a little more complex than beginner level, but I'm going to try it.

Does it? lol No, it's not difficult! Really! It's actually the same tutorial as my Riku's bracelet, just only some beads different. XD

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy the tutorial.
