At first, I experiment this design with matte silver metallic and 3mm at the start. It's the silver bracelet above. It looks okay from afar but up close, you can see that it got scratch everywhere. It's because the beads stayed too close and rub the effect on each other. I noticed it after I made my third circle. I liked the colors so I continued as it was. When I tried the second time on green beads, I changed from 3mm to 4mm and it looked more flat and the beads won't rub each other much. But to be on the safe side, try to avoid using matte or metallic effect on this bracelet, but transparent, opal or opaque should be fine.

A short lesson I'd like to tell you this, especially the beginner, no one is perfect even me. You will see that I made many lovely pieces but not all the time that I can perfect everything on my first try. Sometime, the things I designed in my head won't work at all. But just don't give up!

1.

006

On the comfortable length of thread, add six 4mm. czech beads. Pass your needle to the first bead to make a circle. Leave around 6 inches tail. Weave to all beads again for good tension. You can tie knot or use your other hand to hold the tail.

2.

007

Add one 11/0 seed bead and weave through the next 4mm czech bead. Continue adding one 11/0 between each czech bead. Exit your needle at the first 11/0 seed bead we add in this round (red arrow).

3.

008

Add one 4mm czech, one 11/0 seed bead, one 6mm pearl, one 11/0 seed bead and one 4mm czech. Pass your needle to the same 11/0 seed bead we start this step (red arrow). Continue weaving to the next 4mm. czech and 11/0 seed bead (blue arrow).

4.

009

Do the same again. Pick up one 4mm czech, one 11/0 seed bead, one 6mm pearl, one 11/0 seed bead and one 4mm czech. Pass your needle to the same 11/0 seed bead we start (red arrow). Continue weaving to the next 4mm. czech and 11/0 seed bead (blue arrow).

Repeat it all around the circle.

5.

010

And you will get this picture. Exit your needle at the 11/0 seed bead between czech 4mm. and 6mm. pearl (red arrow).

6.

011

Pick up one 11/0 seed bead, one drop bead and one 11/0 seed bead. Pass through the next 11/0 seed bead (red arrow) and through the next 4mm czech.

7.

012

Weave through the next 4mm czech (red arrow) and 11/0 seed bead. Pick up one 11/0 seed bead, one drop bead and one 11/0 seed bead. Pass through the next 11/0 seed bead and 4mm czech bead.

Note : You can weave through 11/0 seed bead from the inner circle (the ones between white opal) But I find that weaving to the next 4mm czech is like a shortcut and can keep the circle flat.

8.

013

Continue adding 11/0 seed beads and drop beads around the circle. Feel free to weave back to tighten your tension.

Make 3 or 4 of this circle. You can tie your threads and trim them or just leave them to connect each circle together later.

...................

Assembly
You can connect each circle anyway you like. You can check my previous tutorials for another idea or simple connect them with right angle weave. It's all up to you. Below is my way to connect them for this bracelet. It took quite a few step. You can use the remaining thread or cut the new one.

1.

014

Exit your thread at the 6mm pearl (red arrow). Pick up three 11/0 seed beads, one 4mm czech and three 11/0 seed beads. Pass through the 6mm pearl from the other circle. (blue arrow).

2.

015

Now, you have to weave through beads and get to the pearls. Pass through the next 11/0 seed bead, 4mm green czech, 11/0 seed bead, 4mm white czech, 11/0 seed bead, 4mm green czech, 11/0 seed bead and exit at the 6mm pearl.

3.

016

Pick up three 11/0 seed beads, 4mm czech and three 11/0 seed beads. Pass through the 6mm pearl of the previous circle.

Now you have to weave through beads to get to the above pearl again. Follow the red arrow. From pearl, pass through 11/0 seed bead, 4mm green czech, 11/0 seed bead, 4mm white czech, 11/0 seed bead, 4mm green czech, 11/0 seed bead and 6mm pearl.

Pass through the next two 11/0 seed beads. Exit your thread at the second seed bead (blue arrow).

4.

017

Pick up one 11/0 seed bead, one drop bead and one 11/0 seed bead. Pass through the second seed bead and the next seed bead (red arrow).

5.

018

Now we will go the shortcut. Pass through the next seed bead (red arrow), drop bead, 11/0 seed bead. And through the next two 11/0 seed beads (blue and green arrow).

6.

019

Pick up one 11/0 seed bead, one drop bead and 11/0 seed bead. Pass through the second seed bead (red arrow) and the next seed bead.

We will take the shortcut again. Pass through the next 11/0 seed bead (blue arrow), drop bead and 11/0 seed bead. Then, through the 11/0 seed bead (green arrow), the next two 11/0 seed beads and exit your thread at 4mm czech.

When you pull your thread snugly, the two middle czech beads should stay rather closely.

7.

020

Pick up two 11/0 seed beads and pass through the other 4mm czech bead. Pick up two 11/0 seed beads and pass through the 4mm czech bead we start. Weave through all the beads in this step again to reinforce your path.

Connect each circle the same way.

004

I forgot the take the photo at the end of the bracelet. But just pick up around ten or eleven seed beads and weave them between two pearls to make a seed beads ring. Then add jumpring and your clasp.

Finished!

Actually, I made a pendant from this design too. I will cover it in the next tutorial.

Enjoy beading!
